Steve Jobs does not only apologize to people about the early price drop on the iPhone but he also promises to give early iPhone adopters a $100 dollar gift certificate to use at any Apple Retail Store or at the Online Store. This will calm the fire in the many early iPhone adopters that felt "cheated" in the price drop.
