Semi Transparent Menu Bar
The semi-transparent menu bar. Talk about differing opinions. Personally I love the new menu bar. This adds to the desktop and really does give it a new look. For the people that do not like the new menu bar. Do I have an app for you. OpaqueMenuBar will get rid of the semi-transparent menu bar. Now, back to the Tiger menu bar.

I find the over zealous concern for the transparent menu pathetic at best. All this attention over such minor and insignificant thing. It only goes to show your the implied mentality of the User Apple Community.
When the real concern should be that the menu bar was transparent in release 9A599 and all Core Graphics function were intact and not in the final release 9A581. This is clearly a software issue that could have a severe impact on how the OS, third party apps, and Apple operates.
The real issue is not even being acknowledged, much less realized. This whole course of attention has me very scared for the future of the Mac OS, and of its users that are clearly incapable of seeing and commenting real issues and obsesses on tripe.
There is a second solution to disable translucency which even offers a color (greyscale) preview - Leopaque 2.0.2.
